
Serving as the National Park Service’s official partner, Grand Canyon Association is a private nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization chartered in 1932 for the sole purpose of supporting the National Park Service at Grand Canyon.
Grand Canyon Association helps raise funds for specific park projects and initiatives that enhance the visitor experience and preserve the park for generations to come.

Grand Canyon Association sponsors regular events, from book-signings and lectures about the Grand Canyon region to exhibits at Kolb Studio. Plus, each September GCA hosts the Grand Canyon Celebration of Art event bringing the some of the nation’s best landscape painters to the park. The Grand Canyon Association runs many educations programs including The Grand Canyon Field Institute and Travelin' Trunks.

In order to continue to support educational initiatives at Grand Canyon National Park, we raise private funds to benefit Grand Canyon National Park, operate retail book stores and visitor centers within the park, provide premier educational opportunities about the natural and cultural history of the region, and publish a variety of award winning books, games and more.
