Grand Canyon Association is pleased to publish books and other publications that relate to Grand Canyon National Park and the North Kaibab District of the Kaibab National Forest. Founded by Park Rangers in 1932, GCA’s roots are in educating the public about Grand Canyon’s rich geology, people and wildlife. GCA works with topic experts to develop books about various Grand Canyon-related themes that interpret the canyon and the geophysical province called the Colorado Plateau. Specifically, GCA publishes nonfiction for adults and nonfiction and fiction for children on Grand Canyon natural history, geology, wildlife, prehistory, American Indian history and culture, pioneer history, hiking and more. Many of our publications feature high-quality photography, cartography, charts and illustrations.
Proceeds from the sale of these publications will be used to support research and education at Grand Canyon National Park. The Grand Canyon Association is the National Park Service’s official nonprofit partner raising private funds to benefit Grand Canyon National Park, operating retail stores and visitor centers within the park, and providing premier educational opportunities about the natural and cultural history of Grand Canyon
