Donating to the Traveling
Trunk Program:
Since 2003 GCA’s Travelin’ Trunk Program
has allowed nearly 20,000 students from all over
the country to learn about Grand Canyon’s
geology, human history and ecology without leaving
their classroom. For many of the students, this
may be their only opportunity to “visit”
the canyon.
But we need your help: We don’t have enough trunks to service the number of requests coming in from teachers. We estimate that 10% of the requests cannot be fulfilled.
Additional trunks would help us carry out our mission and allow children to experience Grand Canyon National Park and all of its science and beauty.
