2012 Guides Training Seminar

February 25 & 26

The Guide Training Seminar is designed for organizations and individuals conducting commercial and non-commercial hikes and backpacks in Grand Canyon National Park. This event is hosted by the non-profit Grand Canyon Field Institute (GCFI). GCFI is the longstanding education program for the Grand Canyon Association, the official partner of Grand Canyon National Park.

The Guide Training Seminar is conducted at the request of the National Park Service and is designed to maximize personal and organizational effectiveness, enhance the educational experience of your hiking companions, and protect the fragile natural and cultural resources of the park.

Similar seminars have been conducted during each of the past ten years. They have proven to be invaluable vehicles for disseminating the latest information on a variety of topics.

Combining fun, education and community-building. Come join us!
