Join us for two solid days of exploration and adventure, both above and below the rim. Traveling on foot and by motor coach, you will experience everything from rock art to raptors, ancient ruins to historic railroads. During your time in the field, your instructor will introduce you to the fascinating geology, interconnected ecology, and rich human history that makes visiting Grand Canyon such a unique experience.
After taking in the breathtaking majesty of the mile-deep wonderland, you can retreat to the comfort of your well-appointed room, courtesy of Xanterra South Rim, L.L.C.. Lodging will be provided at the Yavapai West Lodge during peak season and at Maswik South Lodge during the winter months. Both lodges are inside the park, just a short walk from the canyon rim. Dinner, breakfasts, and box lunches are available at the Maswik or Yavapai cafeterias (meal vouchers and retail coupons will be available at check-in). One night is open, allowing you to explore other dining options.
