2 Full days of fun, learning and hiking
2 Nights in a Hotel
2 Boxed lunches
Join us for two solid days of exploration and adventure, both above and below the rim. Traveling on foot and by shuttle van, you will experience everything from rock art to raptors, ancient ruins to historic railroads. During your time in the field, your instructor will introduce you to the fascinating geology, interconnected ecology and rich human history that make visiting Grand Canyon such a unique experience.
After taking in the breathtaking majesty of the mile-deep wonderland, you can retreat to the comfort of your well-appointed room, courtesy of Xanterra South Rim, LLC. Lodging will be provided at the Yavapai West Lodge during peak spring-autumn season and at Maswik South Lodge during the winter months. Both lodges are inside the park, just a short walk from the canyon rim. Two breakfasts and two box lunches are included, along with one dinner. Meal vouchers for your dinner and breakfasts, redeemable at Maswik or Yavapai Cafeterias, are available at check-in. One night is open, allowing you to explore other dining options.
