The Grand Canyon Association is collaborating with thirteen sister organizations across the Colorado Plateau, to bring you a rich blend of stories about the arts, the traditions, and the natural and cultural history of the region. Sojourns magazine has been developed specifically for the members of our collective organizations—those of you who value the public lands we support and are devoted to preserving them.
According to the dictionary, sojourn means “to visit or stay for a time; to reside temporarily.” Twice each year you can “reside temporarily” in the parks and public lands of this spectacular landscape through the richly illustrated pages of Sojourns. Each issue brings together a variety of articles inspired by a single theme.
Sojourns magazines are published by the Peaks, Plateaus & Canyons Association. As educational organizations, the cooperating associations listed below are dedicated to enriching visitors’ experiences through knowledge. From knowledge comes appreciation, and from appreciation comes a commitment to stewardship. |
