Longer Day Hikes and Slower-paced backpacks to established campgrounds on developed trails.


Up to 8 miles per day

Trail Conditions:

Unpaved, often steep with loose surfacing in sections, typically 2–3 feet wide, numerous potential trip hazards

Suggested Prior Experience:

Advanced physical fitness and exercise regularly; recent hiking a must

Between 30–35 lbs.

Elevation Change:

Up to 5,000 feet per day
