Grand Canyon NPS

April 17-25, 2021

Come together virtually in the outdoors and walk, jog, hike, or bike ride to raise funds to preserve and protect Grand Canyon National Park to celebrate National Park Week.

About the event

Meet us outside for our second annual Grand Canyon Conservancy Trailblazer event to celebrate National Park Week, kicking off Saturday, April 17, 2021– a fee-free day for all National Parks. Saturday we will share hiking safety tips, facts about Grand Canyon's trails, and take a short rim walk. On Sunday, April 18, join GCC staff for a virtual hike along the Rim Trail. All throughout National Park Week, we will be crowd-funding and trailblazing to support Grand Canyon National Park.

Register for your own fundraising page or create a team. Invite friends and families to pledge a distance and safely participate with you as you #RecreateResponsibly. You can also make a donation if you don't want to register, but still want to support everyone who is Trailblazing.

Follow along with the Grand Canyon Conservancy team on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube as we share our own favorite walks and trails. We will post live videos and photos of popular viewpoints and vistas from Grand Canyon, so you can enjoy the views from home or wherever your trailblazing journey takes you.

No matter where we all are, let’s virtually come together to protect our beloved Grand Canyon National Park and celebrate National Park Week.
