- March 21, 2024
- 5:00PM–6:00PM MST
This virtual event will feature Grand Canyon National Park’s Carmen Kraus, Visual Information Specialist, and Elyssa Shalla, Park Ranger. The recently renamed Havasupai Gardens is one of the most culturally significant places in Grand Canyon and an important rest area along the Bright Angel Trail. Carmen and Elyssa will be sharing a new signage plan that spans Grand Canyon’s corridor trails and reflects the name change which was co-created with Havasupai tribal members to share tribal history and current perspectives. After the presentation, there will be a Q&A with the audience. Grand Canyon Conservancy presents this one-hour event facilitated by Theresa McMullan, GCC CEO.
