Kolb Studio Renovation

An Iconic Landmark Restored

The former home and photography studio of Ellsworth and Emery Kolb, early Grand Canyon entrepreneurs, Kolb Studio underwent a significant historical restoration thanks to Grand Canyon Association supporters. Historic Kolb Studio is open year-round and contains an exhibit venue, bookstore, and information center all operated by Grand Canyon Association. Gifts from people like you ensure that Kolb Studio continues to tell the story of early Grand Canyon residents and how their entrepreneurial spirit and sense of adventure helped shape the visitor experience of Grand Canyon for nearly a century.

Location: Kolb Studio is located on the edge of the South Rim, just west of Bright Angel Lodge.
