Ensuring Safety and Protecting the Environment

Robert Parrish, Chief of Planning, Environment and Projects shared the park’s plans for the construction of a new bridge at Ribbon Falls, a must-see destination on the North Kaibab Trail and a sacred site for the Zuni. Chad Hunter, Branch Chief of Emergency Services provided an update on Emergency Services at Grand Canyon, including the need for two new ambulances to ensure robust emergency response to medical emergencies.

After showcasing some planned celestial objects through Lowell Observatory's 14" PlaneWave CDK telescope, visitors drove the conversation on which objects to see next via the YouTube chat.
