Day Programs

Due to restrictions in park operations and recommendations regarding limiting public events and gatherings surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, GCC will be suspending Canyon Field School courses until further notice.

Explore the Rim

Designed for school groups, but open to all, the Canyon Field School Day Programs are perfect for any group with a little less time to explore. Each can be catered to specific grade levels and is developed using Arizona State Learning Standards and Next Generation Science Standards.

All day programs are priced based on 30 youth and 5 chaperones. Larger groups should contact CFS to discuss their options. Additional chaperones may be permitted to participate, space dependent, for a small additional fee. There will never be more than 10 chaperones (including teachers/group leaders) per 30 youth permitted to attend a program.

Lunch is not provided during CFS Day Programs; program time can be given for groups that bring lunches.
