Cultural Demonstration Celebration
Grand Canyon Conservancy & Grand Canyon National Park invite you to celebrate the 11th anniversary of the Cultural Demonstration Program.
- May 24–25, 2025
- 9:00AM–3:00PM MST
-
Desert View

The purpose of the Cultural Demonstration Program is to elevate the voices of members from the park's 11 tribal communities. Demonstrations allow visitors to Grand Canyon National Park to meet Indigenous artists while they practice traditional and modern crafts. This program wouldn't be possible without the help of Grand Canyon Conservancy donors!
The Cultural Demonstration Program began in 2014 with four demonstrators. Today, the program has over 200 participants, and has worked with multiple tribal organizations. To celebrate, the park will host 12 demonstrators, along with prayers, dances, speeches, and a special Grand Canyon Speaks program.
"Grand Canyon is not just a National Park, it is a sacred place and home to many. The Cultural Demonstration program has transformed Desert View into a place to celebrate, share, and learn about inter-tribal cultural heritage." - Park Superintendent Ed Keable
