NASA's International Observe the Moon Night

Join us in front of Verkamp's Visitor Center to explore the night sky and view the moon through a telescope. Together we'll explore its features, history, importance to life on Earth, myths, and how its own Grand Canyons were formed. Bring some pen and paper and sketch your favorite feature!

The largest full moon of the year illuminates this first night of 2018 - and our New Year's Resolutions. Zoroaster Temple is the peak on the left.
