Public Participation Project by Dani Kwan
Artist in Residence

Petrified! (Anthropic Rocks) Ceramics Series

Throughout the park, visitors can participate in this fun project by completing surveys at Grand Canyon Conservancy stores and the Visitor Center. The survey asks participants to describe and draw themselves as a rock. Dani Kwan, Grand Canyon Conservancy Artist in Residence will select participant "self-portraits" to hand-sculpt into unique ceramic pieces.
