Bright Angel Trail

Grand Canyon National Park’s premier hiking trail.

Bright Angel Trail descends into Pipe Creek at the "Devil's Corkscrew" —visible on the left. With inner canyon temps reaching as high as 130 °F (54 °C) during summer, this portion of the trail should only be attempted during early morning or late evening hours.
