"From the Canyon to the Moon: Astronaut Training at Grand Canyon"

8:30 pm-10:30pm, Grand Canyon Visitor Center Theater

Join Astronomer in Residence Dr. Logan Pearce and guest speaker Kevin Schindler of Lowell Observatory for a special presentation on how Grand Canyon geology helped prepare Apollo astronauts for the Moon, followed by a constellation tour.

This program will begin inside the theater, and then move outdoors; dress appropriately for outdoor weather. Children must be accompanied by an adult. All programs are subject to cancellation due to inclement weather.
