Painted in the morning just east of the Yaki Point parking area, The Scars of Time focuses on a solitary column of Kaibab Limestone lit from the east. Its craggy surface and varied colors suggested the “scars” left by erosive forces, a visual record of the canyon’s long, patient transformation.
