Junior Ranger Program

Inspiring visitors of all ages to preserve and protect Grand Canyon National Park.

Junior Ranger Senior

Anyone can become a junior ranger!

Grand Canyon Conservancy supports educational programming at Grand Canyon for visitors of all ages, including field trips for children, Rangers in the Classroom environmental education programs, the Junior Ranger Program, and more.

Junior rangers help to preserve and protect national parks. They learn about nature and history, have fun exploring the parks, and tell their friends, families, and schoolmates about their adventures.

When visitors visit Grand Canyon, they can go to one of the park’s visitor centers or one of the bookstores operated by Grand Canyon Conservancy to pick up a junior ranger activity book. Once completed, they will be sworn in by a park ranger and receive their own junior ranger badge!

This program is made possible by Grand Canyon Conservancy supporters.
